Once there, you will take advantage of your free time to contemplate the fabulous Ouzoud waterfalls which are accompanied by an unreal rainbow formed by the 110 m high falls. While walking through this magnificent site with its luxuriant vegetation and a few small mills still in activity, you may be lucky enough to spot families of monkeys.
You can also swim at the foot of the waterfalls, and have lunch in one of the restaurants with panoramic views.
You will be back in Marrakech in the late afternoon.
Ouzoud waterfalls are the most beautiful and highest waterfalls in Morocco. Often dominated by a rainbow, they offer visitors a spectacular view from a height of about 110m on three levels.
Located 150 km northeast of Marrakech on the picturesque site of the Oued Tissakht at an altitude of 1060m in a green valley of red sandstone, similar to an oasis, planted with olive groves, almond trees, fig trees, and other carob trees, where a dozen small traditional oil mills are still in operation … they are considered one of the most remarkable natural attractions of the Moroccan Atlas.
You can swim in the natural pools at the bottom of the waterfall and dive into the crystal clear waters of the Al Abid River. You may even be lucky enough to spot wild Berber macaques and birds!
Stroll through the picturesque villages where you can enjoy lunch on the terrace in small restaurants serving Berber cuisine, then browse through the handicraft shops of the High Atlas.
